About the Legacy Run
American Legion Riders are well known for their charitable work, which has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local children's hospitals, schools, veterans homes, severely wounded service members and scholarships. The Legacy Run is one way they raise money for the Legacy Scholarship fund.
As an unfortunate consequence of Operation Iraqi Freedom and the global war on terror, many children of our active-duty military personnel are now members of single-parent families. We are raising funds to ensure that higher education will be a reality for these families, but we need your help.
It is estimated that over 11,000 children have lost a parent in the war overseas. That number continues to grow each day. The Legion is actively working to ensure that all those children who want a post-secondary education will be provided one.

Legacy Run Meet and Greet - Wednesday, March 26, 2014
The meet and greet for the Legacy Run will be held here at Post 129. The American Legion Riders Chapter 129 will be providing the food for the event and the G Men and Sister Karen will be here to keep you entertained all night long! Plan on celebrating with us the beginning of a successful run!
We will also be fundraising for the run at the meet and greet. Try your skills at the virtual shooting range, grab some raffle tickets, or participate in the Chinese auction! All proceeds from these and more will go towards the cause!
In order to keep all motorcycles safe there we will have Motorcycle Parking directly north of the Post. The area will be marked the day of the event.
