Wreathes Across America Poker Run - October 12th, 2013

American Legion Riders Chapter 129 held there first poker run in October to benefit Wreaths Across America. Thank you to all who volunteered and all who came out to support the event. It was a huge success.

19th Street Charities - Toys for Tots Run - December 8th, 2013

Sunday, December 8th, 2013 over 180 bikes, our ALR chapter included, escorted the Marine's to Jacksonville Beach to collect all the bikes and toys that 19th Street Charities collected this year for Toys for Tots.

What an amazing neighborhood that came together and created the 19th Street Charities and arranges this remarkable event every year!
You are all to be applauded for your giving hearts and generous spirits. Post 129 is proud to call many of you family! Congrats again on a fabulous event!

Santa's Arrival at Post 129 - December 14th, 2013

In the middle of Santa's busy season he took out time to visit with the Children at the Auxiliary Children's Christmas party. Special thanks to the American Legion Riders, Jacksonville Beach Fire Department, and the Jacksonville Beach Police Department for the safe escort.

Wreaths Across America - December 14th, 2013

About 2,500 Veterans, Friends and Families came out to honor our veterans by placing wreaths on every head stone.

Making Christmas a Little Brighter - 5 Star Veterans Center
December 21st, 2013

We, the American Legion Post 129, went to the 5 STAR Veterans Center and delivered gifts this past weekend. 5 Star Veterans Center currently houses 22 homeless veterans. Post 129 made it their mission this holiday season to spread a little cheer and to let these veterans know that we will never forget what they have done for our us and our country. We are so proud of the post for the amazing TEAM work on this project. A very Merry Christmas to the Riders, Legionnares, SAL, and our highly appreciated Auxiliary.
