Hurricane RELIEF Fund - Month of September
Most residents of any beach community know first hand how destructive a hurricane can be. Whether it's a direct hit or your community is near the path the damage left in the wake can be devastating. Although overall the beaches area was spared in what could have been a devastating hit not all of Florida was so lucky.
Whereas Harvey’s most severe destruction was concentrated in one contiguous area around Houston, Irma seems to have left pockets of ruin scattered in a totally unpredictable pattern throughout Florida. Let's us the residents of the beaches area band together and raise funds to help those most in need.
During the month of September all Friday night dinners, steak bingo, Sunday breakfast, 50/50's, and the monthly raffle proceeds will all be donated towards the Hurricane Relief Fund. We will also be a open house on September 30th.
For more details on the fundraising efforts please visit our Hurricane Relief Fundraiser page by clicking here.

Much of this work is being done to bring our much loved Post up to current code.
We are also planning on replacing the tables and the bar stools as well as giving the canteen a fresh coat of paint. This project is projected to take approximately 8 weeks so please bare with us. We are still open but we have moved the canteen operation to the back hall. We know that we all miss the main canteen area, your canteen staff included, but in the end it will all be worth it to have a fresh updated safe canteen area for all of members to enjoy for many years to come.
Even though we have the construction project going on it does not change our weekly schedule. We will still have trivia, darts, karaoke, poker, live entertainment, queen of diamond raffle, pass the trash, regular bingo and of course steak bingo. The kitchen will still be open Monday through Friday for lunch and dinner and we will still have Sunday morning breakfast. We are thinking about adding a few fun events so watch your weekly for details.
