CHALLENGE 22 WALK - MARCH 21, 2026
Come out to Jacksonville Beach join American Legion 5th District Riders and Oceans Beaches American Legion Post 129 and our community for a walk, party and a day of camaraderie to help End Veteran Suicides at our Challenge 22 Walk set for March 21,
2026 at the Jacksonville Beach Pavilion, 75 First Street North.
The goal is to have a great time while raising awareness of a tragic epidemic of 22 suicides per day due to PTSD – and raising funds for veteran suicide prevention partners. We are asking everyone to register to walk for $22 to honor the 22 lives that are taken every day due to veteran suicide.
Registration & sign-in will begin at 8 a.m., followed by a 2.2 mile walk on the beach at 9 a.m. from the Pavilion Lawn to Oceanfront Park and back.
When our walkers return, our ceremony will begin, with guest speakers, food, vendors, and live music from Broke ‘Til Friday – with more activities and fun continuing at American Legion Post 129 after the walk, with live music from the Matt Altman Band Saturday night.
